Android 4.2 bug: December Month is missing from People App

The People App is missing out December month from contacts and therefore it won’t be possible to mark birthdays or anniversaries etc that will be there in December. Reports suggest that, Google is aware of this bug and are gonna release an update pretty soon. However, they have not released any confirmation on when the update will be made available.
